When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they were certain they could not go back. Ashley was only 17 and hadn't been with a man before, so they took it slow. The two immediately fell in love. Andrew prayed for Ashley on New Year's Eve, right prior to the start of the year in 2016, that God would bless him with a last blessing this year. It was also hoped that Ashley would be his bride. Ashley wanted to design a wedding with a folk wooden theme that would truly represent her and Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, the couple took a bit from everything they adore. The location was the back 40 acres of the land Ashley was raised on. Ashley had a good understanding of the entire region, exploring it, and playing there. Andrew and Ashley also had been to this location numerous times prior to when they got married. The bride and groom took on the bulk of the work themselves and personalizing the wedding is crucial. Ashley designed and painted many of the decorations. Andrew and Ashley's dad made the seating and ceremony arch. Ashley claims that we might not have had the magical wedding that I imagined it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. It's truly amazing.
